Your wedding day is approaching … let’s talk about how to make it extra awesome!! I'll be truthful with you: the more going on at your wedding, the more photos you'll have. So, I have put together a few ideas to help keep your guests entertained at your wedding day. They are all fun and some are quite unique too – a nice way to offer your guests something a little different while capturing the essence of both you and your spouse.
SINGING WAITERS
- photos featuring @theundercoverwaiters
I'm going to start here because this is my favourite entertainment at a wedding. Let guests have the surprise of their life and give them an experience they will never forget! What's more insane than the waiters at your wedding breakfast suddenly bursting out into song and encouraging your guests to get up and join them? Your guests will get a little crazy, both young and old, and they will have the best time.
When? During your wedding breakfast, typically after pudding,
MAGICIANS
- photos featuring @mattjmagic and @waddingtonmagic by @wethekasas
I'm biased on this topic, because I had a magician at my wedding and I absolutely recommend it to every wedding! Set the scene... guests are doing small talk, they are drinking and sipping cocktails whilst talking about how they spent 2020. Then, boom, a magician comes over, does some closeup magic, leaves them in awe and they talk about the magician for the rest of the day! Honestly, years later, people are STILL talking about the magician at my wedding.
When? They are perfect for cocktail hour or post meal before the first dance.
SHOT ROULETTE
I've not seen this very often at weddings, but oh boy, is this a popular attraction. You will have a menu of shots behind the bar, and your guests will have to spin the wheel of fortune type device to find out what poison they are getting. It's a hit!
When? All day if you dare, or after the meal!
MINI GOLF
- photos featuring Ace Party Events and Entertainment
When? During the cocktail hour, or in the evening if hire permits.
BOUNCY CASTLE
- photos featured from my Fun For Hire and one from my own wedding by @wethekasas
When? All day if you have little ones, but you can also get some adult friendly bouncy castles that you can hire until 10pm!
There you have it- ways to make your wedding memorable for the right reasons, and not because uncle knobhead had too many bourbons and hit on one of your bridesmaids ha! Don't forget to let me know your thoughts below about any other cool activities you have enjoyed at a wedding!
