Esther & Alex’s wedding at Hooton Pagnell Hall was one of those dreamy, golden spring days that just felt effortless from start to finish. If you’ve never been, Hooton Pagnell is an absolute gem—think grand historic charm, gorgeous grounds, and the kind of soft light that makes every corner feel like it belongs on a postcard. It was the perfect setting for a day that was relaxed, heartfelt, and so full of love.


The morning was super chilled, with Esther getting ready alongside her bridesmaids and both mums. Laughter, love, and that lovely buzz of excitement filled the room. And the weather? Unreal. Not a single cloud in the sky, which for early April in the UK is practically a miracle. After the most beautiful ceremony, mingling in the sunshine, and an epic meal, we snuck off for a golden hour shoot around the grounds—and wow, did Hooton Pagnell show off. Soft evening light, rolling countryside, and two people completely in their element. It was a photographer’s dream.


As the sun set, the evening guests began arriving to shower Esther and Alex with well wishes, and the celebrations rolled into the night with even more laughter, hugs, and happy tears. An absolute joy to capture from beginning to end.
